The Tobacco-Free Missouri - Greater St. Louis Coalition is made up of more than 600 organizations, schools, businesses, and concerned citizens who come together to work on the many health issues that result from tobacco use.  This includes preventing children from using tobacco and helping adults quit smoking.

The coalition has been in existence since 1993, and it became an official 501(c)3 non-profit organization in 2005.  The small staff that supports the coalition is housed at Saint Louis University School of Public Health and most of the coalition’s educational workshops, trainings, and other activities are supported by a grant from the Centers for Prevention and Disease Control (CDC).
