Tobacco-Free Missouri - Greater St. Louis (TFMO) is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to tobacco prevention efforts and education in the Greater St. Louis Region.  We work with numerous organizations and agencies to provide a clear path toward a healthier community.  We encourage you to get involved, to help the St. Louis Area become a leader in tobacco prevention education and health.

Yes!  You are encouraged to attend our meetings and get involved in tobacco prevention efforts!

TFMO general membership meetings are typically held once per quarter.  TFMO board meetings are held monthly.  TFMO invites you to attend our UPCOMING EVENTS AND MEETINGS.

TFMO maintains a directory of SMOKE-FREE ESTABLISHMENTS in the region.  If you feel there is an omission or error, please CONTACT US.

Currently there is no timeframe for the State of Missouri to become smoke-free.  In other states, many larger cities and municipalities adopted local ordinances first, before a comprehensive statewide smoke-free law was enacted.

Currently, there are a variety of coalitions working toward comprehensive smoke-free policy change in our cities, counties, and state.  While there is currently no timeframe for all of these places to become smoke-free, there is much activity.  To learn more about specific efforts, please CONTACT US.

Yes, you can JOIN AS A SUPPORTER to stay informed and learn of upcoming events and activities.

From time to time, we have vacancies on the BOARD OF DIRECTORS.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer board member, please CONTACT US.  Terms of service are typically for 2 (two) years.

Yes, TFMO is a 501(c)(3) and files annual IRS 990 forms.  All DONATIONS to TFMO are tax deductible  (check with your taxing authority for more information on what that means).
